Youth Without Shelter is an emergency residence and support center in Etobicoke, Ontario, that provides housing and support services for youth aged 16 to 24 experiencing homelessness. This event was designed to support an educational workshop for youth at the shelter, providing resources and creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Activities and Engagement
Product Distribution:
Care for All Canada distributed over 200 skincare and hygiene products to youth supported by Youth Without Shelter. Products included moisturizers, cleansers, and other skincare essentials to support healthy skin and improve access to personal care products.
Educational Workshop:
10 youth participated in an interactive skin health workshop led by Care for All Canada volunteers. The session covered practical skincare routines, eczema management, melanoma and skin cancer awareness, sun protection, and appropriate product use. Participants were encouraged to ask questions and discuss common skin health concerns.

Reflections and Next Steps
The event highlighted the value of combining accessible health education with practical skincare resources. Following the positive engagement, Care for All Canada will return to Youth Without Shelter for another educational workshop in September 2026, continuing our partnership and support for youth in the community.
